Thanksgiving, came and went...

How has it been almost a month since my last post? I've been super busy lately with work, I guess!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! My family joined us in Charleston and we ate WAYYYY to much food. Sorry I didn't get any photos. Nothing new on my end, just getting ready for Christmas and working, working, working!

We love our new gym. We joined the MUSC gym and it's over 100,000 sq. feet, equipped with a swimming pool, sauna, weight room, cardio room and several rooms for group exercises. I love it! Hoping to get there tomorrow after a meeting!

Happy Halloween!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Halloween! I have to work late, so I will have to miss handing out candy. I had a great time with my family this past weekend. I was exhausted upon return, but it was totally worth it.

On a side note, Michael and I are joining a new gym. I went last night after work and LOVED it. Felt sooo good to get back into the gym again!

Off to the gym now, then a few errands before work! Enjoy the day!!

New master bathroom is DONE!!

I worked a double at work yesterday, so my apologies for not blogging! I was off all day today though and it was GLORIOUS! I got some laundry done, cooked a turkey to eat on throughout the week, and ran some errands. I watched a few movies in bed too with the hubs (he is still sick...bronchitis, turned pneumonia, turned sinus and ear infection)! Poor guy has had a tough month. Our master bathroom is finally completed! Wahooo!  Here's a reminder of the before....

We spent the weekend getting everything moved back into the room and setting up the master bedroom. It felt SOOOO good to be back in our bed again. We'd been in the guest bedroom for almost 2 months!

I plan on watching a little Glee on TV tonight, then off to sleep. Have to work another double in the morning....then off to Alabama to see my Grandmother and other family members for a birthday party! I am very excited about this. I will be gone until Sunday!

Fantastic Friday!

Good morning loves! I am so happy it's finally Friday. I'm sitting here enjoying my tasty cup o' coffee
and watching the local news. I just LOVE coffee, don't you? I've been drinking it since I was 3, yes 3! That is really terrible, but oh how I do love thee!! I can and do drink coffee all throughout the day, everyday...hot or cold! I plan on going for a nice walk this afternoon then get some chores done before work this afternoon!

What are your plans for the weekend?

It's almost the weeeekend!!!

I am so excited about the weekend! For once, we are going to stay in town! We've been gone the last few weekends, coupled with working 6 days a week makes for one tired girl!

Tonight while doing laundry, Michael and I watched a movie called "Conviction", it's a true story and pretty good movie. I plan to take it easy the rest of the night and get some chores done tomorrow before work. Our master bathroom remodel is almost done (pics to follow)! We have a fun weekend planned and I can't wait!

Beautiful weather!

Man, oh man the weather here in Charleston is absolutely beautiful today. I wish it stayed this way all year long. It's nice and cool in the morning and warm in the afternoon. I had to work this morning, so I'm planning on spending the rest of the afternoon doing a few chores, watching "Ellen" and making dinner. I would love to go for a walk later on, but I'm pretty tired now, so we will see! Hope you are all having a wonderful day!

Good morning to you all. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! After work Saturday, the husband and I drove to Spartanburg to meet with my Mom and niece and nephew. 
We had dinner at Jason's Deli and then met up with some friends to watch the USC vs LSU game. Whew...what a game! I'm obviously a Clemson fan, but was pulling for the Gamecocks. It was a pretty intense game and unfortunately, USC lost.
We woke up Sunday morning and went to church. Michael was named Godfather to sweet little Charlie.

 It was such and honor to be apart of that little guy's special day. We had lunch at the Country Club of Spartanburg then hit the road for Charleston. We got home in time to visit with the pups and hit up the grocery store. Off to start the week....hope it's going well thus far!

Fun filled Friday!

I think most would agree with me that Friday is the best day of the week! Especially for me; I'm off! Today consisted of getting up at normal time and having coffee with the husband, followed by cleaning, a few errands, lunch and a shower. This afternoon we are going over to a dear friend's house to see her new baby, Thomas Alexander Covington IV, "Alex". So cute, right? 

This evening I believe we will go watch the USC baseball game (I know, I know....sometimes you have to do that! Never said I would cheer for them) with some friends. I feel like we haven't seen anyone out lately, so I'm looking forward to it.
